A song that reminds you of yourself. “I Don’t Care” Judy Garland This is the song I hear in my head when I just don’t give a crap. So I hear it a lot! And Challenge complete! A little mangled on the posting at the end due to family illnesses but done!

A song that breaks your heart “Lonely” Jonghyun How could it not….

A song that moves you forward. “Loco-motion” Little Eva Tongue in cheek, of course. I couldn’t come up with anything. I panicked.

A song by an artist no longer living. “She is” Jonghyun I came to kpop towards the end of Jonghyun’s life. This was the first solo song I heard of his and I was in love. I had it on a loop for months (until I discovered “Crazy.”) The world has lost an amazing talent

A song that makes you want to fall in love.  “The Way You Look Tonight” Fred Astaire This one was a challenge. I’m not really in the mood for heart fluttering these days. Nothing modern really came to mind. So I thought about “L-O-V-E” by Nat King Cole or “I Only Want to Be with

A song that makes you think about life.  “Both Sides Now” Joni Mitchell “I really don’t know life at all.” When I was a child I thought she was singing about “clowns” instead of “clouds”. It was a very different song.  The early version was peppy but I like this slower, moodier one from 2000.

A song from the year that you were born. 1930 “Three Little Words” Duke Ellington and His Orchestra featuring The Rhythm Boys Just kidding. I really am not a fan of music from my birth year (and I don’t want to talk about that) so here is an alternative. And most days I feel this old.

A song that you would sing a duet on karaoke. “Friends in Low Places” Garth Brooks You all know the words.

A song that is king of creepy. “Into the Night” Benny Mardones The lyrics are completely wiggins-inducing.

A song that reminds you of your mom.  “Me and My Arrow” Harry Nilsson My mom loves the animation “The Point”. We used to watch it on Thanksgiving. It’s a quick watch with a sweet soundtrack if you have the time.
